Description Of Component Parts
The "4n-aft 10 Second Dock Line"
is made of several strong and durable component parts.
Rope:
Our rope is top of the line 10 mm double-braided nylon rated at 6,600 lbs. tensile strength. It's soft, pliable yet very strong construction makes it ideal for use as a dock line and perfect for use in this system.
Snap Hook:
Our snap hook is made of solid steel and Powder Coated to prevent any possibility of rusting, the rope loop is saddle sewn to be strong as any weave.
Slack Adjusting Handle:
Our Slack Adjuster, while designed for ease of operation, is capable of lifting 400 lbs., (This amount of force can rip a cleat or ring from the dock before the unit would fail) Should you, for some reason, not tie the rope to the snap hook properly (this could happen while in a rush at a short term tie up) you can still be comfortable knowing this backup is in place.
